Two Professors from the Faculty of Law – University of Kufa, Dr. Ahmad Sami Al-Mamouri and Dr. Alaa Al-Silawi participated in the workshop held at the University of Yerevan in the Republic of Armenia on the establishment of legal mechanisms adopted in the development of a legal office that provides free services for children and battered women.
AL- Silawi added; the mechanisms discussed included field visits to the victims of violence and the real need to raise awareness among the society.
