The University of Kufa Extends Scientific and Advisory Support to the Local Government

The University acting president, Prof. Dr. Yassir Lafta Hassoun, has convened with the Governor’s consultant for Higher Education Affairs, Ghassan Falih Dreib. During their meeting, they negotiated ways of collaboration between the university and the local government for the purpose of utilizing what the university could offer, namely scientific expertise and the research center as well as the consultancy centers such as the Remote Sensing Center and Engineering Consultative Center. In support, Dr. Hassoun confirmed that the university was apt to aid the local government in facing the national financial and the COVID-19 crises.
