Dr. Riad Kareem Abboud, a professor at the College of Nursing at Kufa University, issued a new scientific publication entitled “A scientific guide to primary health care programs”. Abboud stated that this guide helps students of medical college, nursing, and medical technology in practical training on the vocabulary of primary health care programs. it consists of eleven Chapters, Chapter One contains an introduction to the concept of primary health care. Other chapters include programs (mother and newborn health, child health, nutrition, immunization, school health, non-transition diseases, transitional diseases, mental health, health awareness, health communication). and the final chapter, which includes topics related to the management of health care programs such as assessment systems, supervision, control, and referral system.
