Department of Korean language

Vice President of Kufa University Prof. Hassan Al-Zubaidi discussed with the Ambassador of South Korea in Iraq (Jang Kung-wook) the possibility of opening a department of Korean language at the faculty of Languages and providing fellowships for Kufa University students in Korean universities. He presented an explanation about the university,its faculties,and scientific and research departments. The Director of the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations at the University, Dr. Haider Al-Hamdani to allocate professors from Korean universities to teach this language and provide fellowships to students of the University of Kufa in Korea to study so that they can after return ,teaching in universities of Iraq. on his own,announced the Korean ambassador expressed his happiness to visit the university, emphasized his quest to communicate with his government about allocate seats to the students of the University of Kufa, and to and to provide adequate support for the opening of the department to teach the Korean language for the opening of the department to teach the Korean language, and briefed the delegation at the conclusion of his visit to the Korean lab located at the Faculty of Arts
