The University of Kufa won 15 awards from the Iraqi Flag Day competition, which was held by the Department of Research and Development – Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The President of the University prof. Dr. Yasir Lafta Hassoun said that the university won (15) awards out of (143) that public and private universities, as it won third place, two awards for the best scientific research, six awards for the best book authored or translated, one award for the best magazine Scientific award, two awards for the best patent and intellectual property, three awards for the best-distinguished project, and one award for the distinguished research center or unit.
