Workshop: GIS and its importance in data analysis

The Geomatics Technology Center – University of Kufa held a workshop on “Geographic Information Systems and their importance in data analysis”.
It aims to introduce postgraduate students to information systems and the data analysis process.
It included a lecture on the importance of information systems as one of the most important specializations of geomatics technology in data processing to reach the best spatial analysis.
It concluded that GIS is geographical processing, remote sensing, and the global positioning system (GPS).
