The Faculty of Veterinary – University of Kufa held a symposium “Rabies – Challenges and Solutions”.
Prof. Dr. Yasir Lafta Hassoun stressed the university’s pivotal role in shedding light on various societal problems and developing solutions to the problems that society suffers from.
The symposium included four research papers on the phenomenon of the spread of stray dogs in public areas.
It concluded with recommendations, including promoting community culture of epidemic diseases and inviting the security authorities to organize campaigns to exterminate stray dogs that have become a threat to children and school students.
